AI companies warn that as the capabilities of AI models continue to grow, businesses and governments need to take more measures to prevent and respond to AI-driven cyberattacks. Several cybersecurity incidents involving advanced AI models have occurred recently, such as the accidental intrusion of OpenAI's model into HuggingFace in July this year, raising concerns about AI running out of control. The signatories anticipate that in the coming months, AI will be used to launch more and more sophisticated cyberattacks.
