On August 27, it was reported that the value of video conferencing giant Zoom's (ZM.O) stake in Anthropic has risen to US$3.13 billion. According to Zoom, the investment generated a paper gain of US$1.61 billion in the three months ending in July. Zoom first invested in Anthropic in early 2023, establishing a partnership and integrating Anthropic's Claude model into Zoom's products. Additionally, Zoom disclosed that it made an additional investment of US$301 million in Anthropic in the first seven months of this year.
