The third 1.5-track Sino-US Dialogue was held in Beijing, where representatives from relevant Chinese ministries and commissions, local governments, think tanks, and the US-Asia Society, among others, engaged in in-depth discussions on enhancing political mutual trust, expanding economic and trade cooperation, and exploring cooperation in artificial intelligence and technology. Established in 2023, the 1.5-track Sino-US Dialogue serves as an important communication (changed to "communication" in English) platform between the official diplomatic and purely non-governmental dialogues, involving political parties, strategic circles, business communities, academia, and civil society from both China and the US. It has put forward numerous specific recommendations for strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two countries across multiple fields.
