Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with the Cyberspace Administration of China and other relevant departments, jointly released the "Guidelines on Fostering High-Quality Development of Internet Infrastructure Resources." These guidelines outline that by 2035, China aims to establish itself as a global innovation hub and a frontrunner in the realm of internet infrastructure. At present, the development of infrastructure for agent interconnection networks, coupled with the systematic enhancement of resilient domain name systems, has emerged as a focal point of discussion. The objective of agent interconnection networks is to foster mutual trust, seamless interconnection, and interoperability among diverse agents, propelling the progression of AI technology from isolated applications to collaborative networked systems.
However, the construction of agent interconnection networks encounters several challenges, encompassing identity authentication, capability discovery, protocol interoperability, task coordination, and security assurance. To surmount these obstacles, it is imperative to institute unified communication protocols, data exchange standards, and interface specifications. Additionally, overcoming technical barriers related to identity identification, capability discovery, interconnection protocols, and security governance is essential.
Simultaneously, as a cornerstone of the internet, resilient domain name systems necessitate achieving heightened resilience through AI integration to guarantee stability within the digital landscape. Presently, institutions such as the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology are collaborating with a diverse array of industry stakeholders to drive forward standard development, experimental validation, and international exchanges. This collaborative effort is aimed at expediting the implementation of agent interconnection networks and resilient domain name systems.
