The second World Humanoid Robotics Games kicked off in Beijing. On the eve of the opening ceremony, Unitree Robotics, a frontrunner in China's humanoid robot industry, revealed modifications to its event participation strategy. The company will adopt a “dual-track” approach, combining its in-house team with partners who have undertaken secondary development on its platform. The decision to adjust participation stems from several factors: a mismatch between the mass production timeline of new robot models and the event schedule, the necessity to validate the stability of certain new models, and the company's prioritization of mass production and delivery efforts, which have strained its resources for event preparation. This strategic move underscores a cautious approach aimed at safeguarding product quality. Despite the reduced event participation, Unitree Robotics' exhibition booth remained a focal point, drawing considerable interest with its latest humanoid robot showcasing remarkable environmental adaptability. The company plans to progressively integrate related technologies into commercial applications, including industrial inspections and logistics handling.
