On August 21st, the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and Informatization Committee unveiled the Action Plan for Fostering High-Quality Development in Cyberspace and Informatization Enterprises (2026-2030). This strategic blueprint is designed to propel the manufacturing sector's digital transformation, by empowering cyberspace and informatization enterprises to concentrate on comprehensive scenarios spanning R&D design, production manufacturing, operational management, maintenance services, and supply chain oversight. The objective is to enhance the provision of digital products and services.
The plan advocates for the development and promotion of cost-effective digital transformation tools, services, and solutions tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Simultaneously, it steers enterprises towards participating in the industrial internet's construction and establishing globally competitive industrial internet platforms.
Furthermore, the plan encourages enterprises to integrate large-scale models and intelligent agents into the manufacturing landscape, cultivate high-caliber industrial datasets, intensify R&D efforts and practical applications of humanoid robots, and expedite the establishment of smart factories. By doing so, it aims to harness the power of artificial intelligence to fuel the new-type industrialization.
