On the afternoon of August 21, during iFLYTEK's 2024 semi-annual performance briefing session, Wu Xiaoru, the President of the company, announced that iFLYTEK will introduce a brand-new, primary general-purpose large model at this year's Global 1024 Developers Festival. This model will be built upon domestic computing power, with an initial phased version slated for release by the end of August. Wu highlighted that the new model will stand out in the domestic market, particularly in terms of its coding capabilities and cost-efficiency related to Token usage. Furthermore, it is expected to sustain its leading position across various metrics among general-purpose large models that are trained using domestic computing resources.
