Microsoft has recently announced that Mico, the vibrant yellow animated character featured in Copilot's voice mode for less than a year, will be phased out. This lifelike assistant, which had drawn comparisons to the iconic 'Clippy' by the media, will slowly disappear from the daily AI interaction scenes of the general public. On its support page, Microsoft disclosed that Mico hasn't been entirely eliminated; rather, it will be repurposed and relocated to the Learn Live platform. The company explained that this strategic shift is intended to enable the virtual character to reach and engage with 'a wider spectrum of interactive audiences'.
