As reported by Wired magazine, insiders have disclosed that White House officials are nearly certain to overhaul the most recent AI guidelines set forth by the Trump administration, thereby extending regulatory oversight to a wider range of AI models. This month, the White House unveiled plans to devise an AI regulatory framework, mandating that the most advanced models crafted by U.S. AI laboratories must pass federal safety evaluations prior to their public launch. Nevertheless, the U.S. government has not officially released this framework to the public and, according to reports, currently has no intentions of doing so.
