Recently, Acorn Robotics, a company specializing in embodied operation, officially launched the world's inaugural general-purpose operation foundation model—the "Natus AGE-0 Embodied Instinct Model." This model is centered around haptic perception and marks a significant milestone. Alongside this release, the company also announced the successful completion of its angel round of financing. This financing round was spearheaded by China Merchants Capital and NIO Capital, with additional support from the Tsinghua University Alumni Seed Fund.

The Natus AGE-0 model distinguishes itself by not relying on pre-training data. Instead, it equips robots with innate operational instincts. This unique approach enables cross-scenario zero-shot generalization and millisecond-level adaptive operations. As a result, it effectively addresses the challenges of data dependency and scenario implementation that have long plagued the embodied AI industry. Moving forward, Acorn Robotics plans to expedite model iteration, with a keen focus on product development, brand building, and commercialization. Simultaneously, the company will continue to delve deeper into the realm of industrial flexible manufacturing.
