Xiaomi Technology has officially announced the open-sourcing of its cutting-edge embodied foundation model, Xiaomi-Robotics-1. This model was developed through a rigorous two-stage training process: an initial pre-training phase utilizing over 100,000 hours of UMI data, followed by a post-training phase with more than 10,000 hours of cross-agent data. The pre-training stage was specifically designed to cultivate general action generation capabilities, ensuring a robust foundation for subsequent refinements. The open-sourced package is notably comprehensive, encompassing the entire workflow from real-machine post-training to model deployment, and includes Benchmark evaluation code for thorough assessment. Additionally, the project's website, GitHub repository, and Hugging Face page have all been made publicly accessible, providing a seamless experience for developers and researchers. Originally released in July of this year, the model is ready for immediate, "out-of-the-box" use, facilitating rapid innovation and application in the field.
