Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved and released the Quality Requirements and Evaluation Methods for Embodied AI Datasets—Key Foundational Technologies of Artificial Intelligence, which will be officially implemented on November 1, 2026. Drafted jointly by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and over 40 industry entities, this standard signifies a shift in the development of embodied AI datasets from 'scale-oriented' to 'quality-oriented,' filling the gap in industry standards for the embodied AI data field and laying the foundation for the construction of high-quality datasets.
