Jia Yueting announced that FF EAI robots soared to new heights in July, achieving sales and shipments of 152 units, setting a fresh monthly record. By the close of July, cumulative shipments had surged to 394 units, inching closer to the ambitious annual target of 2,000 units. Earlier this year, in May, FF pivoted to become a tangible AI ecosystem enterprise, redirecting its focus towards humanoid and bionic robots. This strategic shift was accompanied by a successful round of financing, amassing a total of $70 million, with aspirations to finalize corporate restructuring within the next two years. At present, FF boasts a diverse range of robot series, with its 'Quad-Core Full Intelligence' robot offerings, currently available for purchase, having all secured FCC certification. These products remain unscathed by the latest U.S. FCC regulations. Jia Yueting posits that the competitive landscape in the U.S. robot market is gradually gravitating towards localized production, and the ICTS regulations originating from the electric vehicle sector could potentially influence the robotics industry down the line.
