Physical AI company Quanten Power, established just over a month ago, announced the completion of its seed funding round, raising over 100 million yuan. The round was co-led by Yunqi Capital and SenseTime. Founder Li Qiang brings 17 years of experience within the Alibaba ecosystem, with extensive expertise in logistics operations, AI technology, and global management. Quanten Power has assembled a strong core team and established research collaborations with several renowned domestic and international universities and institutions. The company focuses on developing Physical AI systems aimed at advancing the autonomous evolutionary capabilities of robots in the physical world. Li Qiang noted that previous-generation technologies could only address 20% to 30% of the challenges in the logistics industry, and current technological advancements now make it possible to tackle these issues, which is the core motivation behind his decision to start the business. The company has chosen to focus on areas within the logistics industry that suffer from labor shortages and high costs, with a business approach that gradually expands from closed scenarios to fully open environments. Quanten Power's competitive edge lies in its comprehensive capabilities, including its data flywheel system, safety technologies, model and system experience, and upper-level scheduling systems. Positioned as a systemic platform enterprise, the company adopts a platform-plus-multi-configuration model, with core components outsourced and bodies contract-manufactured and assembled. It plans to launch its first-generation robot product before September 30. Quanten Power will build an embodied native world model, primarily trained using self-collected and partner-provided logistics scene data, with a roughly 50-50 split between pre-training and post-training. In terms of customer expansion, the company will primarily focus on overseas markets, prioritizing Japan, South Korea, and Europe, with the North American market to follow later. Currently, Quanten Power has a team of around 25 members, which is expected to expand to nearly 50 soon. The company's three-year plan includes: achieving product-market model matching for one to two scenarios and conducting small-scale promotions by the end of 2026; and achieving daily operations of 1,000 robots by 2027.
