Amidst fierce competitive dynamics among companies and nations alike, there exists a reluctance to unilaterally decelerate progress. Consequently, the coalition's letter urges the US government to champion international cooperation in the co-development of technologies and governance frameworks, thereby enabling a deliberate and controlled advancement of cutting-edge automated AI.
