From July 21 to 22, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) held a seminar for the heads of central enterprises. The meeting emphasized that in promoting in-depth industrial transformation and upgrading, state-owned central enterprises need to formulate and implement the '15th Five-Year Plan' effectively. SASAC will deepen the digital and intelligent transformation of central enterprises, advance the 'AI+' special initiative, create high-value scenarios and high-quality datasets, promote the deep integration of digital and intelligent technologies with enterprise production and operations, and consolidate industrial advantages. Meanwhile, it will coordinate the green transformation of key industries such as steel, non-ferrous metals, building materials, petrochemicals, and chemicals, adhering to a classified and phased approach to accelerate the development of emerging pillar industries.
