Data from the Beijing Municipal Economy and Information Technology Bureau reveals that in the first half of this year, Beijing's digital economy saw a 7.8% year-on-year increase in added value, with the core digital economy industries experiencing a notable 9.8% rise. This growth significantly propelled the city's GDP forward. In the second half of the year, Beijing is poised to drive the all-encompassing enhancement of artificial intelligence (AI), with a particular focus on fostering applications like intelligent translation and simultaneous interpretation within the cultural and tourism consumption sectors. Simultaneously, Beijing will devise policies to nurture the Token economy, concentrating on crucial facets such as Token production, distribution, and application. The city will establish Token factories and distribution platforms to spur innovative applications in pivotal areas including industry, education, and cultural tourism. Moreover, Beijing is set to host the "Create and Win the Future" OPC special roadshow event, aiming to invigorate the enthusiasm of super individuals in AI applications and creativity. It will also develop top-notch AIGC training courses for OPC to unlock the full potential of AIGC technology. Leveraging the resources of the Open-Source Chip Institute and the Beijing Tongminghu Information Technology Application Innovation Center, Beijing will forge an open-source ecosystem centered around "RISC-V + AI OS," constructing a comprehensive, full-stack autonomous technology system that spans from chip instruction sets to operating systems and intelligent agent applications. Regarding intelligent computing power supply, Beijing will set up a support system comprising "super nodes + industry nodes," with the ambitious goal of adding 50,000P of intelligent computing power in the second half of the year. This will bring the total computing power scale to surpass 130,000P by year-end.
