On July 20, AI software development platform Emergent announced the completion of a $130 million Series C funding round. This round of financing was led by Creaegis, with joint leadership from MNI Ventures-Claypond Capital and Sentinel Global. Institutions such as Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed, and Y Combinator also participated. After completing this funding round, Emergent reached a valuation of $1.5 billion and successfully joined the ranks of unicorn companies within a year of its public launch.
