At a forum held in conjunction with the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, GuoXing Aerospace and SenseTime unveiled their ambitious plan to collaboratively develop the SenseTime Computing Power Constellation. This grand project envisions a network of thousands of satellites, boasting a combined computing capacity exceeding 10,000 PFLOPS, to establish a cutting-edge, global AI infrastructure. The two entities have outlined a phased approach to realize this vision, which unfolds in three key stages: Firstly, they aim to accomplish the inaugural launch and network integration of the 'SenseTime' computing power satellite by 2026. Secondly, by 2028, they intend to set up a commercial hybrid space-ground cloud computing backbone network. Finally, by 2030, their goal is to construct a constellation comprising thousands of computing power satellites, with an aggregate computing power surpassing 10,000 PFLOPS. This will culminate in the formation of a global space intelligent computing network, seamlessly integrating ground-based intelligent computing centers, on-orbit computing constellations, and diverse application scenarios.
