IDC is set to unveil its 'DAA Research Report,' offering a comprehensive examination of the DAA (Daily Active Agents) metric. The report forecasts that the global count of active agents will climb to 28.6 million by 2025, escalate further to 79.4 million by 2026, and dramatically soar to 2.216 billion by 2030. It's noteworthy that the DAA metric was initially introduced by Baidu's founder, Robin Li, at the Create 2026 conference. In contrast to conventional metrics like model parameters and Token usage, DAA places a greater emphasis on quantifying the number of agents that can actively engage in business operations, accomplish tasks, and generate value on a daily basis.
