On July 16, news emerged that the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), coupled with the High-Level Conference on Global AI Governance, is on the verge of commencing. AI industry chain companies listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board are set to collectively present their latest breakthroughs. It is understood that more than 10 such listed companies will take part in the exhibition via booths, spanning the entire industry chain—from computing power chips to end-use applications.

In terms of financial performance, as of the evening of July 16, 32 companies listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board have released their performance forecasts for the first half of 2026. Among them, 30 companies have reported positive results, with 22 anticipating year-on-year growth in net profit and 6 expecting to transition from losses to profits. These companies operate across diverse sectors, including semiconductors, electronic materials, high-end equipment, biopharmaceuticals, and lithium batteries.
