NVIDIA unveiled a new AI model, Cosmos 3 Edge, for robotics and visual agents on Wednesday, strengthening its presence in Japan's physical AI sector. This model, categorized as a world model, enables intelligent systems to perceive their environment in real-time and navigate autonomously. Compared to large language models, world models can learn from multi-dimensional data. This release follows closely on the heels of the launch of the foundational version of Cosmos 3 in May this year.
