On the 9th (local time), Koo Yun-cheol, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of South Korea, held separate meetings with Enkhbayar, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development of Mongolia, and Mendsayhan, the Minister of Finance of Mongolia, during his visit to Mongolia. During these meetings, they concurred on the necessity to enhance cooperation in critical minerals and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors. Both sides acknowledged the vast potential for collaboration between the two nations in burgeoning fields, including the application of AI technology, the construction of data centers, the establishment of critical minerals supply chains, the development of renewable energy, and the healthcare sector.
