Recently, Alibaba's Gaode Open Platform has officially unveiled an upgraded iteration of its global map, specifically designed for developers and enterprise users. This new version provides a comprehensive suite of navigation services, including driving, cycling, walking, and motorcycle navigation, all finely tuned to cater to a variety of scenarios such as international logistics and transportation, on-demand delivery, local lifestyle services, and tourism online travel agencies (OTAs).
The platform has significantly enhanced its foundational POI (Point of Interest) data, address information, road network characteristics, and route planning algorithms. The updated POI data now spans over 300 million points worldwide, with address data exceeding 500 million entries, ensuring robust support for multilingual adaptation.
