From June 3rd to 7th, 2026, CVPR 2026 (the IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition), the preeminent academic conference in the global computer vision and pattern recognition field, was held with great fanfare in Denver, Colorado, USA. This conference secured the second position in the Google Scholar 2025 edition's impact ranking of scientific journals and conferences across all disciplines. At this prestigious event, the research accomplishments of Professor Wang Yuan's team from the School of Integrated Circuits at Peking University, along with their collaborators, truly shone, earning them the CVPR 2026 Highlight Paper award. It has been reported that this year's CVPR conference received a staggering total of 16,092 submissions, with 4,071 papers ultimately being accepted; however, the acceptance rate was not disclosed.
