Zhang Shuyu, the product manager in charge of Tencent's AI assistant QClaw, announced her resignation on June 29 and took to a social platform to reflect on her experience leading the consumer-oriented product QClaw for the first time. She clarified that, contrary to rumors, there has never been any 'internal competition' between QClaw and WorkBuddy at Tencent. Both products were overseen by the same supervisor, shared growth teams during certain phases, and pursued distinct product strategies, each fulfilling its unique role within the company. Tencent has not yet issued a response regarding this matter. According to sources close to the situation, Zhang Shuyu did indeed serve as the product manager for QClaw.
