On July 2, news emerged that the 2026 Nanjing Software Conference recently commenced at the Nanjing International Expo Center. During the opening ceremony, the Fifth Electronics Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CEPREI) spearheaded the formation of the Collaborative Innovation Working Group for China’s AI Software and Hardware Ecosystem. Bu Jingde, Assistant to the President of Sugon Beijing, represented the company at the launch event.

Under the leadership of CEPREI, the working group unites research institutions such as the Institute of Software at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Computing Technology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence. It also brings together key players across the industrial chain, including industry leaders like Sugon, Kunlunxin, Enflame Technology, and SenseTime. The group’s mission is to harness core strengths throughout the industry-academia-research-application spectrum, aiming to bridge critical gaps in the collaborative advancement of China’s AI sector.
