On July 1, 2026, Guangdong Narui Radar Technology Co., Ltd. introduced its self-developed WDSPT0152 S-band full-polarization multifunctional active phased array radar, along with its complementary Ruichen ultra-refined short-term imminent AI meteorological large-scale model. (Note: Here, “complementary” is used to convey the idea that the model is designed to work in tandem with the radar, enhancing its functionality.) This radar incorporates S-band and full-polarization technologies, substantially boosting its capability to accurately capture and analyze complex weather patterns. The AI meteorological large-scale model is specifically tailored to tackle the challenges encountered in short-term imminent meteorological operations. By leveraging advanced AI algorithms, it mines and simulates vast datasets, facilitating precise early warnings for sudden weather occurrences. At present, both products are in the initial phases of market introduction and have not yet secured any commercial orders. The future market size, user acceptance, cost-effectiveness, and performance enhancements remain uncertain factors. This strategic move underscores the evolving trend among meteorological detection equipment providers, who are shifting from merely manufacturing hardware to offering holistic solutions that encompass “hardware + models + intelligent services.”
