Following several weeks of negotiations with the Trump administration, Anthropic, a U.S.-based artificial intelligence firm, has declared that its consumer-oriented Claude Fable 5 model will be reinstated for use. On the social media platform X, Anthropic revealed that the U.S. Department of Commerce has revoked the export controls imposed on Claude Fable 5, as well as on the enterprise-level Mythos 5. Starting from July 1, users will gradually regain access to these models. Earlier, on June 12, the U.S. government, out of concerns for national security, had issued an export control directive that temporarily halted access to these two AI models.
