The State Administration for Market Regulation is working hand-in-hand with pertinent departments to speed up the establishment of standards in cutting-edge technology sectors, such as intelligent agents, and to continuously refine the national standard framework for artificial intelligence. At present, there is a concerted effort to craft standards for emerging technologies like intelligent agents, embodied intelligence, and world models, alongside foundational standards for computing infrastructure and high-quality datasets. Simultaneously, there is a push to introduce pivotal standards, including those for assessing the intelligence maturity of AI firms and identifying high-value application scenarios. By streamlining processes and reducing the time it takes to develop standards, an agile standardization approach is being embraced for these innovative sectors, with a focus on promptly issuing national standardization guidance technical documents. This strategy is designed to transform standards from merely reacting to industry demands to proactively driving innovation forward.
