Anthropic, an artificial intelligence company based in the United States, has written to a pertinent committee within the U.S. Senate, accusing Chinese tech giant Alibaba of "flagrantly and unlawfully" pilfering its AI technology and orchestrating what it deems the "most extensive distillation attack witnessed thus far." According to the letter, from April 22 to June 5, individuals linked to Alibaba and its AI research division employed around 25,000 fake accounts to engage with Anthropic's models a staggering 28.8 million times.
