At the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind, responded to questions regarding the talent drain in Google's AI sector. He stated that despite fierce industry competition, Google remains highly attractive and continues to draw top AI research talent. Hassabis pointed out that Google's vast data ecosystem, integrated hardware systems, and large-scale computing resources, particularly its large-scale customized TPU clusters, provide researchers with highly appealing conditions for scientific research. Additionally, with the merger of Google Brain and DeepMind completed in 2023, Google has centralized its AI resources under a unified architecture, further enhancing its competitiveness in the AI field.
