COMPUTEX 2026 Taipei International Computer Exhibition, themed "AI Together," attracted 1,500 global enterprises, focusing on AI computing, robotics, and next-generation technologies. During the event, Qualcomm unveiled its integrated end-to-edge-to-cloud strategic layout, leveraging the Computing Continuum architecture to drive the development of distributed intelligence. Cristiano Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm, defined 2026 as the inaugural year for intelligent agent development, highlighting that artificial intelligence has entered a new phase of intelligent agents capable of autonomous planning and has already been implemented across multiple terminal scenarios. Currently, billions of terminals worldwide constitute a vast AI access gateway, yet existing device architectures struggle to meet the load demands of intelligent agents, triggering a wave of device upgrades. Qualcomm has emerged as a core enabler of this transformation. In response to the explosive growth in AI token demand, Qualcomm proposed the concept of the "Computing Continuum" to build a comprehensive computing power system that achieves optimal balance through intelligent scheduling of computing resources. At the technical architecture level, Qualcomm integrates relevant chip designs to optimize energy efficiency and cost. The company has identified three strategic pillars: scalable coverage of universal computing power, implementation of native AI devices and systems, and intelligent connectivity to solidify collaborative foundations, all aimed at advancing the vision of "ubiquitous intelligent computing." Amon also previewed the new data center brand Dragonfly, marking Qualcomm's completion of a full-hierarchy layout for the Computing Continuum. The brand has already initiated deployments with global cloud service providers, with more details to be disclosed at the Investor Day. Qualcomm has established a complete hardware product matrix and is collaborating with industry partners to build an ecosystem. Intelligent agent orchestrators such as OpenClaw and Hermes have been adapted for the Snapdragon platform. Intelligent agents have transitioned from the conceptual stage to a critical period of industrial implementation. Leveraging its unique architecture, technological layout , and open ecosystem, Qualcomm is seizing opportunities in the industrial transformation and will continue to lead innovation in the intelligent computing industry, driving the democratization of AI technologies and the realization of intelligence for all things.
