During the keynote speech at Computex Taipei 2026, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang declared that the era of 'useful AI' has arrived, with tokens serving as the unit of profit and AI acting as a 'generator' of GDP. He refuted claims that AI would reduce jobs, pointing out that the number of software engineers is on the rise. Huang introduced NVIDIA's Vera Rubin super AI chip, describing it as the company's most ambitious product, with 40,000 engineers involved in its development. The chip is set to launch in the second half of this year, with initial deliveries beginning in the third quarter and volume production accelerating in the fourth quarter, backed by clear demand plans and orders. He also stated that NVIDIA's market share in the inference sector is growing rapidly, and with an increase in the number of frontier model companies this year, these companies will choose Vera Rubin, which has made a strong start and is poised to be even more successful than Grace Blackwell.
