On May 28th, it was reported that the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center has officially announced the commencement of drafting an industry standard titled “Technical Specifications for Safety Classification of Humanoid Robots”. This move is in alignment with the directives outlined in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's “Guidelines for the Innovative Development of Humanoid Robots” and the “Standard System for Humanoid Robots and Embodied Artificial Intelligence (2026 Edition)”. The center is now openly inviting eligible units to participate in this standard-setting process.
