On May 30th, Tsinghua University, in collaboration with the National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin, is set to unveil the GalaxyVS—an ultra-large-scale virtual drug screening platform. Harnessing the power of the next-generation Tianhe supercomputing system, this platform marks a historic milestone by accomplishing, for the very first time, real-time virtual screening of a compound library encompassing nearly 100 billion molecules. This breakthrough facilitates screening against millions of target pockets, paving the way for innovative drug development across diverse biological species.
