On May 28, 2026, during the OpenHarmony Developer Conference, Xie Shaofeng, Chairman of the OpenAtom Open Source Foundation, announced that the OpenHarmony community's codebase has grown to exceed 140 million lines, thanks to the contributions of over 13,000 developers. This robust codebase supports a diverse range of terminal devices, including smartphones and tablets. Furthermore, a Huawei executive revealed that the total number of smart hardware devices within the HarmonyOS ecosystem has now exceeded 1.3 billion.
