According to Dealroom's 'Global Tech Ecosystem Index 2026,' London has regained its position as Europe's leading tech hub, overtaking Paris, thanks to increased investments in artificial intelligence and deep tech innovation. London's return to the top spot is attributed to robust venture capital activity and the continuous emergence of 'unicorn' companies. Last year, London-based tech firms raised a total of $17.7 billion in funding and boasted 138 unicorns—startups valued at over $1 billion—such as Wayve, Granola, OLIX, and ElevenLabs.
