According to a report by The Information, three months after the launch of ChatGPT's advertising business, OpenAI has adjusted its commercialization strategy, shifting its focus from serving well-known brands to attracting small and local businesses, while significantly lowering the barrier to advertising. OpenAI plans to introduce a series of new features, including conversion-based ads, where advertisers only pay when users complete actions such as purchases or appointments. Meanwhile, the previously set minimum prepayment requirement for ad placement has been removed to attract more small businesses to participate.
