Customs data reveals that during the first quarter of this year, China’s robotics sector significantly accelerated its global market expansion. Exports of various independently listed "robots" soared to RMB 11.32 billion, with products reaching 148 countries and regions. At present, China is home to more than 140 humanoid robot manufacturers, collectively shipping 14,400 units annually and dominating the global market with an 84.7% share. This translates to eight out of every ten humanoid robots worldwide being made in China. Projections indicate that the market size of China’s embodied artificial intelligence industry will expand to RMB 400 billion by 2030 and is expected to exceed RMB 1 trillion by 2035.
