As per an internal memo issued by Samsung Electronics this Tuesday, its employees will gain the green light to utilize generative AI models crafted by other entities, including ChatGPT, commencing next month. Samsung has set its sights on officially launching external generative AI services for its staff within the Device eXperience (DX) division in June. This division is a business unit that encompasses displays, mobile devices, and home appliances. Insights from industry insiders reveal that Samsung also has plans to conduct AI application training sessions in the latter half of the year, with an anticipated participation of around 2,000 executives from Samsung Electronics and its key affiliates.
