The Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism has unveiled a suite of measures aimed at accelerating the high-quality development of AI-driven micro-series in the city. Central to these initiatives is the establishment of municipal-level pilot bases dedicated to the ‘AI + Micro-Series’ paradigm. The administration actively promotes collaborative efforts among enterprises, research institutions, and universities to jointly construct and operate these bases. Such partnerships are envisioned to foster an all-encompassing integration of AI capabilities into the production and dissemination of micro-series content, thereby paving the way for scalable industry solutions.

Simultaneously, the measures underscore support for innovation in ‘AI + Micro-Series’ applications. Enterprises are encouraged to hone in on typical usage scenarios and construct AI micro-series skill libraries alongside intelligent agents. In recognition of the market's validation of independently developed intelligent agent projects, financial support of up to RMB 10 million will be extended. This support is designed to cover a maximum of 20% of the actual research and development investment, providing a significant boost to innovative endeavors in this domain.
