Since the onset of the second quarter, both domestic and foreign institutions have been fervently engaged in research activities centered on listed companies within promising sectors of the A-share market. Data sourced from Wind reveals that, as of May 22, public funds and foreign institutions have undertaken more than 12,000 and 1,400 research visits, respectively. Their focus has predominantly been on high-growth domains, including AI computing hardware, semiconductor equipment, and high-end medical equipment. Institutions are of the opinion that as AI applications transition from training phases to large-scale inference, and with the concurrent strengthening trend towards domestic self-sufficiency and controllability, leading enterprises within these relevant industrial chains are poised to encounter structural investment opportunities.
