On May 20, the German government unveiled a comprehensive roadmap for the 'High-Tech Agenda for Germany'. This strategic blueprint delineates six pivotal directions for technological development and establishes concrete objectives. Specifically, it aims to achieve the following by 2030: develop two cutting-edge, error-corrected quantum computers that lead in Europe, and ensure that 10% of the nation's economic output is driven by artificial intelligence. Furthermore, by 2028, the government plans to approve the first mRNA-based cancer immunotherapy. In addition to these goals, Germany is committed to progressively augmenting its investment in five strategic research domains, encompassing aerospace, health, security, and defense.
