Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the National Data Administration, has jointly published the Notice on Collaboratively Launching the 'Model-Data Synergy' Program for 2026, marking the official commencement of this initiative. Targeting 20 pivotal industries within the manufacturing realm and pinpointing a selection of key cities, the program is designed to pave the way for groundbreaking technological advancements in artificial intelligence. It seeks to facilitate the seamless integration of AI with the modernization of industrial processes. The program outlines seven core objectives: constructing premium datasets, crafting industry-tailored models and specialized intelligent agents, refining assessment frameworks, establishing collaborative platforms, forming innovation alliances, enhancing the industrial ecosystem, and designating focal cities. These efforts are aimed at creating a self-reinforcing loop of 'data—model—application scenarios'.
