On April 29, the QianWen App enhanced its image translation functionality, positioning itself as the industry's pioneering AI assistant to offer 'image-to-image' translation capabilities across 119 languages globally. This covers around 98% of the languages spoken by the world's population. The feature is not limited to widely spoken languages such as English, Japanese, French, and German; it also tackles the complexities of identifying and preserving the layout of less common languages, exemplified by Faroese. Through the 'image-to-image' translation mode, the translated text is seamlessly superimposed onto the original image in its corresponding locations, maintaining the initial layout for straightforward user comparison. This enhancement specifically targets the challenges faced by international travelers by refining the translation experience for 11 typical travel situations, such as menus, street signs, and product packaging. Concurrently, QianWen has initiated the 'Global Menu Snap with QianWen' photo submission campaign, encouraging users to post pictures of menus in foreign languages.
