Anthropic recently unveiled a new workspace called Claude Design. Built on the newly launched Claude Opus 4.7 model, this tool upgrades Claude from a conversational assistant into a complete UI prototype design tool tailored for product teams, aiming to reshape the visual workflow of product development from ideation and iteration to implementation. Users can describe their requirements in natural language, and Claude Design will generate a clickable and adjustable initial interface, supporting iterative refinement from sketches to mature prototypes within the same environment. Additionally, the tool supports importing existing enterprise codebases and design files to ensure consistency in style and interaction for new projects. It can also directly convert prototypes into production-ready code, bridging the final gap from design to development.
