On April 16, Alibaba's Qwen team released the medium-scale model, Qwen3.6-35B-A3B, as open-source software. This model boasts a total of 35 billion parameters, out of which only 3 billion are actively utilized. Impressively, its performance outstrips that of Google's Gemma4-31B model.
