On April 15, the three primary U.S. stock indices closed with divergent results. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 1.59%, marking its 11th consecutive session of gains and achieving a new closing high. Over these 11 trading days, it has accumulated an increase of over 15%. The S&P 500 Index also rose, by 0.8%, reaching an all-time record high. However, the Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a slight decline, falling by 0.15%. Large-cap technology stocks generally performed well, with Tesla surging over 7%, Microsoft gaining over 4%, Apple increasing by nearly 3%, and Nvidia, Google (Alphabet), and Meta all rising more than 1%. Among popular Chinese American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), there was a mix of performances: Baidu rose over 2%, Alibaba and Tencent Music gained over 1%, while Li Auto fell over 3%, NIO dropped over 2%, and XPeng Group declined over 1%.
