Recently, DuClaw, a product from Baidu Smart Cloud, has undergone a significant upgrade. Building on its existing integration with Xiaodu hardware, it now achieves a deeper level of synergy with Baidu Maps. Users can now effortlessly set up crayfish-related tasks through DuClaw and issue travel commands. This will simultaneously activate both Xiaodu and Baidu Maps, enabling them to accomplish tasks such as schedule inquiries, obtaining weather and traffic updates, and receiving travel planning suggestions. All these can be done through voice interaction with Xiaodu hardware, which provides real-time feedback. This upgrade facilitates the seamless execution of agent commands across hardware and software services, with synchronous feedback and interaction being relayed back to the physical hardware, thereby creating a comprehensive and closed-loop user experience.
DuClaw leverages Baidu Maps' Map Agent Plan to offer ordinary users, who may lack coding experience, an 'extremely simple, zero-threshold, ready-to-use' map skills package. By tapping into the in-depth information from 340 million POI (Point of Interest) map data, it allows users to swiftly access the required map functionalities through natural language interaction. Looking ahead, DuClaw aims to integrate with more service-oriented vertical software applications, such as ride-hailing services, utility bill payment platforms, and e-commerce shopping sites. This will enable users to engage in a wider range of real-world interactions through one-click commands that seamlessly bridge the gap between hardware and software.
Additionally, Baidu Smart Cloud has introduced several crayfish-themed products, including the zero-deployment Cloud Crayfish (DuClaw), Mobile Crayfish (RedClaw), and Desktop Crayfish (DuMate). It is also actively promoting various Skills packages. Among these offerings, the Baidu Search Skill has emerged as the most downloaded at OpenClaw's official skill store, ClawHub, highlighting its popularity and utility among users.
